This policy explains what information we collect when you use XCrowMart, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over your personal data. If anything is unclear, reach out to our support team.
When you create an account, we collect the personal information required to operate the platform and comply with applicable law. This includes your email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash), and any identity documents you provide for KYC verification.
When you use the marketplace, we record transaction details needed to deliver the service: order identifiers, the listings you view, your message history with counterparties, wallet addresses used for deposits and withdrawals, and IP and device metadata for fraud prevention.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure aggregate usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser — core site features may rely on a small set of essential cookies to function.
We process personal information to operate the marketplace, verify identity, facilitate trades through our escrow system, mediate disputes, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We may contact you with service announcements, transaction notifications, and safety-critical updates. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure, as required by tax, anti-money-laundering, and dispute-resolution laws. KYC documents are retained for the period required by applicable regulation.
All communications are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Passwords are hashed using modern password-hashing algorithms. Access to production systems is restricted to a limited set of engineers with auditable access logs. We operate a responsible-disclosure program for security researchers.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact our support team. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
XCrowMart is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact our support team so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of XCrowMart after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data can be directed to support@xcrowmart.com. For structured requests (data exports, deletions), please use the in-platform support ticket system so we can verify your identity before processing.
